The University’s International Relations Office provides service to International students and visitors, and University of Zimbabwe staff and students.

• Provides a central contact point for international students;
• Is the first  port of call for international inquiries, forwarding as appropriate;
• Assists international students secure study visas;
• Facilitates international students’ counseling with respect to academic and non academic issues;
• Assists international students secure accommodation;
• Provides support and guidance to the University of Zimbabwe International Students Association.
• Provides a resources center on international universities and education opportunities;
• Develops exchange opportunities for local and international students;
• Provides information booklets and pamphlets for local and international students;
• Develops services to enhance the academic experience of international students.
• Facilitates and manages international inter-institutional agreements;
• Develops international opportunities for University of Zimbabwe staff and students;
• Maintains a data base of Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding entered into by, and between the University and other institutions of higher learning and other relevant organizations;
• Markets University of Zimbabwe’s programmes, research and teaching expertise;
• Stimulates the development of internationalization in all aspects of the University’s activities (research, learning, curriculum development, recruitment).
