Degree and Entry Requirements

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

For admission to a programme of study at the University of Zimbabwe for any first degree, a student must have the following qualifications in the Cambridge School Certificate and Higher School Certificate examinations or equivalent.

All applicants must have passed English Language at 'O' level and either:

  1. have passed in five subjects of which at least two must be at Advanced Level; or
  2. have passed in four subjects of which at least three must be at Advanced Level.
    NB at 'O' Level only grades A, B, and C is accepted.

PROGRAMME AND SUBJECT CHOICE
Listed are the programmes and subjects available and the abbreviations used by the University to indicate these. Select carefully the programme and subject of your first preference, and enter in the space provided in 5.1 of the application form the programme and where appropriate the subjects preferred (using the abbreviations shown in brackets). If you wish to be considered for alternative programmes in the event of your first choice being unsuccessful, you should also indicate these in the spaces provides in 5.2 nd 5.3 of the application form. Guidelines on the entry requirements are also given.

Undergraduate application forms are available upon payment of a non-refundable application fee of US$10,00
Only CASH or BANK CHEQUES will be accepted.  Any other form of payment will NOT be accepted.
