Since their founding in the early 12 th century, universities world wide have relied on the generosity of their Alumni, parents and many friends to help build the campuses, endow scholarships for students, renovate and create new laboratories, support enterprising Faculty and provide the fundamental annual support that enhances the overall operations of Universities.

  Today the University of Zimbabwe is a vibrant institution built upon a foundation of philanthropy that has spanned generations. Sadly there has not been a coordinated effort to bring together all the Alumni to review were they came, and where they are going.
