When
I first started working with UZ for the Community, I thought
that it was all about me helping to make a difference in
the lives of less fortunate people than myself. How wrong
I was! What really happened was that my eyes and mind became
open to a whole new world which I had been previously unaware
of. A paradoxical world of laughs, sorrows and triumph over
adversity. I met people who had every right to be bitter
and cynical, because life had dealt them a heavy blow. But
in spite of their misfortune, they were determined to make
the best of their lives without complaining.
