The Department of Geoinformatics and Surveying was established in 1986 with the prime purpose of preparing students for the Surveying and Geospatial Industry. In this endeavor the department provides education in Land Surveying, Geodesy, Mine Surveying, Engineering Surveying, Cadastral Surveying, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Cartography and Geographic Information Systems.
