General Overview

Teaching undergraduates in Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree programme. This is a 5 year programme with preclinical training in BDS I to III and clinical training in BDS III to V. The Department also has a postgraduate programme in Masters’ in Dentistry (Orthodontics) as a four year programme.

 Clinical training and service provision are undertaken at the University of Zimbabwe Oral Health Centre.

 Research is a critical component of the Department with research in various aspects of Oral Health.
