Name:Dr Maideyi Lydia Meck

Profile: Dr Maideyi Lydia Meck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and statistics , an honours degree in Geology and an MPhil in Environmental Geology  from the University of Zimbabwe obtained in 1993,1994, 2003 respectively. She obtained her PhD from the University of Botswana in 2011.  She as appointed a teaching assistant in 1995 , lecturer in 2003, Chairperson 2008 in the Department of Geology. To date she has published 13 articles in refereed journals. 

Name:  Professor Isidro Rafael Vitor Manuel

Prof. Isidro Rafael Vitor Manuel earned his PhD. degree in Geology at Aachen University in German. After he received a BSc. Honours in Geology, he joined the Geology Department at University Eduardo Mondlane in Maputo where he worked as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor of Environmental Geology and Geology of Mineral Deposits. He was also Dean of Science Faculty, Supervisor and Coordinator of some projects at University Eduardo Mondlane. In 2009, he has joined the University of Zimbabwe as Temporary full time Associate Professor. Isidro Manuel became LEAD Fellow in 2001, after he graduated from our two year International course on Leadership for Environment and Development. He earned also his MBA (Master of Business Administration) in 2011.
