Management of Halls of Residence

The management system for halls of residence is derived from Ordinance 30 or “The Rules of Students Conduct and Discipline Ordinance”.

The Warden is overally responsible for the management of any given hall of residence and has for assistance in this regard, the following structures/office bearers:

• Janitor—who is available 24 hours a day to assist students in times of need and should be approached in the first instance for assistance.

• The Hall Committee, (each hall has a Hall Committee comprising students). These members augment the effort of both the Warden and the Janitors in an attempt to ensure that resident students’ welfare is taken care of (in attending to students’ socio-psychological health needs, etc).
