The Mathematics Department was formed in 1957 along with the rest of the University of Zimbabwe. Its 14 lecturers and 8 Teaching Assistantscater for over 800 undergraduate students in the Faculties of Science and Engineering. There are also active Masters programs. We host currently 6 DPhil research students.
