The Department of Mining Engineering is one of the six departments in the Faculty of Engineering and is housed in the University of Zimbabwe, Faculty of Engineering Building (B041).
Consultancy Services and Projects
The Department caters for various needs of the Mining Industry through strategy partnership with other consultants to respond to all industry needs big or small. In addition to our own laboratories, the department also has access to other laboratories within the University of Zimbabwe and has special arrangements for laboratory facilities in the Institute of Mining Research (IMR). Some major and most recent consulting work undertaken in Zimbabwe include;
