Mrs Makamure holds a Master’s in Business Administration and BSc. Honours in Sociology degrees from the University of Zimbabwe, and a Diploma in Personnel Management from the Institute of People Management in Zimbabwe. She boasts of over 20 years of relevant professional working experience in both the public and private sectors in Zimbabwe. Before joining the University of Zimbabwe, she served, among others, as Managing Consultant at Workplace Solutions Pvt. Ltd; Human Resources Director at the Zimbabwe Open University; Human Resources Consultant for Global Business Solutions; Human Resources Manager for Fleximail; Human Resources Manager for Schweppes Zimbabwe Limited; Labour Officer and later Senior Labour Relations Officer in the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare.She boasts of over 20 years of relevant professional working experience in both the public and private sectors in Zimbabwe.
