Our Bachelor of Accountancy Honours provides good training in business, finance and accountancy concepts and practices as well as specialist pathways for professional practice. You’ll also have the management skills and professional accountancy to work both independently and in teams and supervise others. Upon course completion you’ll be able to start your career in accountancy or you can continue to pursue Master’s degree in business administration. The Bachelor of Accountancy Honours (HACC) program aims to enable students to develop a holistic understanding of business operations and, in particular, all functional areas of accounting, taxation, auditing and business environment. The knowledge goals of the programs are aimed at promoting an awareness of all aspects of accounting and operational matters that affect business. Opportunities to acquire knowledge and skills will be created such that students can apply what they have learned to everyday business operations as well as fully comply with accounting and other regulatory and statutory requirements. To ensure that graduates are well prepared for their future careers, the curriculum is designed to give students real life experiences through industry-based live projects that equip the students with valuable hands-on experience in terms of research and business presentations.
