1. Normally have one ‘A’ Level pass or an approved equivalent in the proposed area of specialisation. 2. Have five ‘O’ Level passes including English Language, a national indigenous language or approved equivalent. 3. Have a teaching certificate or diploma in a relevant area of study. 4. Have attained a satisfactory standard on any entrance test which the University may deem necessary.

There are two ways of applying to the University of Zimbabwe for an undergraduate degree: Paper-based forms:These forms are available from the Admissions Office, you can come and collect them for an application fee of US$20 for local students and US$30 for foreigners. Via Electronic forms The form below is for use by prospective students who wish to apply to the University of Zimbabwe to study undergraduate degrees. Please download the form and print it. Read through the form and once you have gone through it please complete the form, and then post it to us. PLEASE NOTE: You should not submit the form electronically. You are required to print it out and post it to the University with any other supporting documents (e.g certified copy of I.d particulars). An Application Fee of (US$30 for foreign students) , should also be enclosed as cash or bank cheques. Also NOTE THAT late application fees are US$30.
