This is a bi-annual journal. The field of Humanities covers Arts, Commerce, Education, Law and Social Sciences. ZAMBEZIA focuses on humanities in Zimbabwe and the surrounding region. It also entertains and publishes special articles of a more general interest. When the need arises ZAMBEZIA publishes monograph supplements or special issues that cover the main disciplines of the University and may not necessarily have the same regional focus as itself.

JASSA is a multi-disciplinary bi-annual science journal, specializing in applied research that is important to and/or deals with matters specific to Southern Africa. The journal exercises some degrees of flexibility in the choice of articles to publish: for example, pure science articles will be considered. The journal also publishes reviews of science books written by regional authors; and of books whose subject matter is particularly relevant to the main focus of the journal issue.

The Central African Journal of Medicine (CAJM) is a referred journal that seeks to promote the practice and science of medicine in Zimbabwe and in other parts of Africa and the rest of the world in general. Original articles are accepted for publication. Articles are subject to such alterations as the Editor see fit. No major alterations will be made without the consent of the author.
