VISION To be a centre with close regional and international collaboration links on training, research and innovations in animal health, welfare and production which contributes towards the enhancement of human health and life on a sustainable basis. MISSION To provide undergraduate, postgraduate and continuous professional veterinary training of an international standard. The aim is to offer excellent clinical training which allows prompt disease recognition in animals (including wildlife) under different management systems and implementation of adequate control measures for the benefit of the agricultural economy and society at large.
