The Faculty of Law runs a Moot Court Programme which is coordinated by a committee comprising of Dr. E. Sithole, Dr. V.G Guni and Mr A.J. Manase. The Moot Court programme is a voluntary programme which has managed to attract students from all years in the Faculty.

The winners of local competitions receive cash prizes in addition to being Zimbabwe's representatives to International Moot Competitions. The Faculty usually participates in two such competitions namely, the All Africa Moot Court Competition and the Jessup International Moot Court Competition which is usually held in Washington D.C. Our moot teams have always performed consistently well in these competitions. The Faculty is indebted to previous sponsors of the Moot Court, in particular Coca-Cola Central Africa, British Airways and the Centre for Human Rights studies at the University of Pretoria.
