• Closed for lunch between 1245hrs- 1400hrs

MEMBERSHIP

The Education Library is open to graduate students,members of staff, and other approved users as will be determined by the University Librarian.

MATERIAL IN THE LIBRARY

At the moment, the library houses about 5 000 books. These are categorised as follows:-

• Reference Books -These must be read in the library only and are not available for borrowing e.g. dictionaries, directories , encyclopaedias etc.
• Reserve Books - These are the most heavily used books and must be returned to the library the following day before 9:00am. Failure to comply attracts a fine. For the amount, see Circulation Services .
• Short Term Loan -This is material in the Education Library that can be borrowed for short periods of upto 3 days. For fines visit Circulation Services.
• Ordinary Books -This is ordinary material which students can borrow for periods of up to 14 days. For fines visit Circulation Services.

SERVICES

1. Binding Services
   Spiral binding service is available for a fee.
2. Photocopying Services
   These are available to all library users and are chargeable.
3. Audio and visual tapes
   These are available and can be borrowed overnight only.
4. Inter-Library Loans Services
   For sourcing Books and journals that are not available in the library.
5. Library Orientation Tours
   Available to all new students and any other library user on request.
