Joining SAMSA

As an attachment to the previous mail on SAMSA membership drive, the following information is of importance. You will also find this information on the website http://uzweb.uz.ac.zw/science/maths/samsa in future.

1. Joining/subscription fees (annually):

   1. Institutions: US$60
   2. Individuals: US$20
   3. Students: US$5
2. It was suggested that institutions manage their own members' contributions locally but keep the regional SAMSA treasurer informed on the amount collected and used.
3. However all fees from the institutions fees should be sent to the regional SAMSA treasurer to be deposited in the regional SAMSA account which is kept at the University of Zimbabwe where the regional SAMSA treasurer is. The funds are kept in a university account and audited at the end of each year.
4. The local treasurers at the different institutions should therefore keep in touch with the regional treasurer, the undersigned in respect of (2) and (3) above.
