The University of Zimbabwe is pleased to inform all graduands, parents and invited guests of the following arrangements relating to the 2016 Graduation Ceremony.
DATE/TIME/VENUE
The Ceremony will be held at the UZ Athletics Stadium on THURSDAY 29 SEPTEMBER 2016. Graduands and Guests are required to be seated by 0830 hours.
DRESS
Men should wear a suit, preferably dark, with a plain white shirt and a dark tie. Women should wear a long-sleeved white blouse and a dark skirt (a dark jacket may be worn over the blouse if desired). All graduands are expected to be in full Academic Dress, i.e. gown, appropriate hood and cap.
PURCHASE OF ACADEMIC DRESS
Academic dress is available from the Faculty of Education after payment of a $75 graduation fee.
ADMISSION TICKETS
Admission to the Graduation venue will be strictly by TICKET ONLY. Each graduand is allowed two guests only. Graduand and Guest tickets are available for collection from your Faculty Office up to 28 SEPTEMBER 2016.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Except for the authorised University of Zimbabwe Photographer, no other photographers will be allowed entry into the stadium. All Guests are advised not to bring cameras or any photographic equipment into the venue.
REHEARSALS
Attendance of the rehearsals on WEDNESDAY 28 SEPTEMBER 2016 starting at 1430 hours at the Athletics Stadium is compulsory.
