At the Zimbabwe Project Management Achievement Awards held at the Rainbow Towers Hotel on 17 December 2020, the University of Zimbabwe was awarded the INNOVATION OF THE YEAR AWARD for the Art Design Technology Complex which was opened by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Comrade Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa on 4 December 2020 by the Chartered Institute of Project Managers Zimbabwe.
