Dr Tinotenda Chidhawu is a lecturer of Public Administration, Department of Governance and Public Management, University of Zimbabwe, and a Reviewer for the Zimbabwe Council of Higher Education. He received his Bachelor of Arts in French and Economic History, BSc 4th Year Special Honours in Politics and Administration and MSc in Public Administration at the University of Zimbabwe. He obtained his PhD in Development Studies at the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, South Africa. His PhD unpacked the right to adequate housing in Zimbabwe, a research that cemented his interests in socio-economic rights, human rights law, public policy and governance. He has presented papers at local and international foras on the aforementioned areas of specialisation. Prior to joining the University of Zimbabwe, he worked in civil society.

Research Interests: Socio-economic rights and human rights law, public policy and governance.
