Mrs J.R Chiroodza-Ndlovu is currently with the University of Zimbabwe as a lecturer and Chairperson in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. She teaches a variety of courses including Electronic Circuit Design, Analogue Electronics, telecommunications and Advanced Digital and Analogue Electronics courses. She is a member of IEEE and a graduate member of ZIE. She briefly worked for Speciss College as a lecturer in Electrical Engineering. She is one of the founders of the University of Zimbabwe Women in Engineering (UZ-WIE) which encourages female students to take up engineering. She is the Deputy-Chairperson of UZ Paperette Competition Committee. A member of UZ- HEPSSA Royal Academy.
