The University has 10 Faculties; Arts, Education, Law, Commerce, Agriculture, Science, Veterinary Science, Medicine, Engineering, Social Studies. The University also has a number of Institutes namely: Institute of Environmental Science, Confucius Institute, Institute of Developmental Studies, Institute of Mining Research and Centre for Defence Studies.
