Undergraduate Enrolment

The UZ offers a single undergraduate intake each year, held in August. Applications are typically invited between January and March annually. Admission into various programmes is subject to specific selection criteria, which may vary depending on the nature of the programme. Each programme advertisement will detail any special requirements where applicable.

To be considered, applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements. However, admission is competitive and subject to the overall performance of all applicants. Applicants can monitor the status of their applications through the eMhare platform at www.emhare.uz.ac.zw.

Entry Requirements 

To be enrolled for any undergraduate degree programme at the UZ, a student must have attained qualifications in the ZIMSEC or CAMBRIDGE examinations or equivalent as specified under special requirements. 

All applicants MUST have passed at least five subjects, including English language at ‘O’ level and at least two ‘A’ Level passes.   

(N.B: at ‘O’ level only grades A, B and C are accepted).

The non-refundable Application Fee is US$30 for Zimbabweans payable in USD or ZWG Equivalent at the prevailing interbank rate and US$50 for International Students.   Payments should be made through the following options:
