Mr Justin Chipunda

Security Officer Justin Chipunda joined the University of Zimbabwe in 1994 as a security guard. Prior to joining the university Mr. Chipunda had worked as a sergeant for a private security company. Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, currently he is in charge of all security operations at the College of Health Sciences situated at Parirenyatwa Hospital. Mr. Chipunda has 6 “O” levels and has done courses in Security Intelligence and Investigations at Specis College and Principles and Practice of Supervision at the Zimbabwe Institute of Management. He has also done a security course run by the Zimbabwe Republic Police.

Mr. Chipunda’s duties at the College of Health Sciences involve supervision of security guards and sergeants, carrying out investigations and security surveys as well as ensuring that students, staff and visitors adhere to University of Zimbabwe regulations.
