David Muradzikwa joined the Security Department in January 2015 as a Security Officer. Before joining the Security Department, he was a Chief Inspector in the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) stationed at Mashonaland West Province, Provincial Training wing as the Provincial Training Supervisor. During his service as a member of ZRP, he worked at various Police Stations and held several commanding positions. David Muradzikwaalso worked as an Officer In-Charge of various Police stations and is a seasoned Police Trainer, Investigator, Administrator and is good in Public relations.
He is a holder of the following qualifications:-
- Diploma in Police Studies – Police Staff College
- Business Studies Certificate – Harare Polytechnic
- Junior Officers Staff Course – Zimbabwe Staff College – Zimbabwe National Army
- Law of Armed Conflict – Zimbabwe Staff College – Zimbabwe National Army
- Junior Officers Command Course – Police Staff College
- Train the trainer Course – Police Staff College
Currently David Muradzikwa is In-Charge of Shift Three at the University of Zimbabwe and is responsible for supervising Sergeants and Security Guards under his command. He is also doing investigation duties, attending to scenes of crime and training- related duties among others.
