Post 1    

Applicants should have a PhD in Audiology or related field. A Master of Science degree in Audiology is mandatory, with special training in Diagnostic Audiology (special populations included) and/or Aural Rehabilitation.  The successful candidate is expected to provide academic leadership to the Department and to initiate, guide and contribute to basic and applied research programmes in the Department. Applicants must be able to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students, participate in clinical teaching, community service, innovation and to coordinate and participate in the supervision of the honours and postgraduate research students.  The successful candidates will be expected to be actively involved in research.

Post 2   

Applicants should have a PhD in Speech and Language Pathology/Speech and Language Therapy. An MSc in Speech and Language Pathology/Speech and Language Therapy is mandatory with specialization in Paediatrics/Adult Neurological conditions, Paediatrics Aural Rehabilitation and/or Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). The successful candidate is expected to provide academic leadership to the Department and to initiate, guide and contribute to basic and applied research programmes in the Department. Applicants must be able to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students, participate in clinical teaching, community service, innovation and to coordinate and participate in the supervision of the honours and postgraduate research students.  The successful candidates will be expected to be actively involved in research.
