RE:  INVITATION TO NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM

The Zimbabwe Association of Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Sciences cordially invites all health care workers to a half day symposium on Cardiovascular Diseases- an important mainstay of non-communicable diseases that are increasingly threatening to overshadow all the infectious diseases as a cause of morbidity and mortality. The keynote speaker for this symposium is Professor ZAR Gomo-an accomplished researcher and academic who has spent most of his life working in the area of cardiovascular disease research. Other speakers include two Doctor of Philosophy students who will be sharing their research findings, a senior Clinical Biochemist, a final MSc student and an entry level researcher with special interest in dyslipidaemias.
