The acceptance of applications for the Olympic Games in the field of IT has begun - the largest international hackathon "Leaders of Digital Transformation".

On April 3, the applications for participation in the largest international hackathon "Leaders of Digital Transformation" were opened.

“For the past five years, we have held the largest hackathon, "Leaders of Digital Transformation", bringing together talented IT professionals from various parts of the world. This event has become an effective tool for discovering and implementing new digital products and services in our capital. Over this time, more than 30,000 people have participated in the competition, with more than 1,700 solutions developed and over 60 startups created. This year, we are launching our hackathon for the sixth time, raising the bar - the number of challenges has increased to 25, and the prize pool has grown from $450,000 to $500,000. We are also pleased to announce that this year's event has attracted the attention of international experts from BRICS, CIS, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, who have joined us as partners. This not only confirms the quality and significance of the competition, but also makes it possible to take it to the international level”, said Maxim Vlasov, Deputy General Director of the Moscow Innovation Agency.

"Leaders of Digital Transformation" is a major IT event that brings together talented specialists from all over the world. Participants develop new digital products and services for the city, companies, and regions as part of the competition. IT professionals over the age of 18 are invited to participate in the hackathon. To do so, they must submit an online application before June 5. The hackathon supports talented developers who create digital products and services that are used by major Russian companies and government agencies.

In 2024, participants will face 25 challenging technological cases, and the prize pool will amount to over 500,000 dollars. To tackle these challenges, participants must form teams of 2-5 people. A total of 250 teams will advance to the finals. The winners of the hackathon, who present the best digital solutions, will win a cash prize over 10,000 dollars and get the chance to implement their ideas. The second and third place teams will receive over 6,000 and 4,000 dollars, respectively. The final will take place at the largest youth IT festival in Moscow, the innovative heart of Russia.

The “Leaders of Digital Transformation” hackathon is more than just a competition for a cash prize. It is an opportunity to become part of the biggest IT community and fulfill your potential. The best participants will have the chance to:
