Bio: An experienced, enthusiastic and focused learning facilitator who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the education and community well being of vulnerable and marginalized groups such as women, refugees, internally displaced persons, elderly, people with disabilities, people with chronic disease, children and young people at all times. Mr Chifamba is passionate about giving the vulnerable and the marginalized the best possible education in life and enjoys working in a busy environment and relishes the challenge of managing a diverse workload. He is able to establish a supportive relationship with not only students but also their parents and fellow lecturers all with the aim of promoting and reinforcing a student’s independence and self esteem. He is someone who is fundamentally committed to good practice and innovation and who is very much a team player. Mr Chifamba is always engaged in continuous learning in order to broaden his knowledge and experience.

Research Interests: Community Psychology, Community Mental Health, Community interventions and development, Forensic Psychology and Victimology, Critical Psychology, Educational and developmental psychology, African Psychology, Parenting, refugees issues and migration issues, sexual reproductive health and Gender Issues.
