Ms Sandisiwe Sukoluhle Masuku

Qualifications: Bsc Honours in Sociology and Msc in Sociology and Social Anthropology (University of Zimbabwe).

Bio: Ms S S Masuku is a junior lecturer in the department of Community and Social Development. Masuku is a holder of bachelor’s degree in Sociology (2017) and a master’s degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology (2019) and currently doing a post graduate diploma in Social Work. She is currently teaching undergraduate modules in Bachelor of Criminology and Society. Her interests revolve around gender affirming care and maternal health, with interest to see how the Trans people, who choose to become the other gender have adequate resources and care to transition properly.  

Research interests: LGBTQI, also interested in issues to do with white collar crime in organisations, consensual crime, drugs and substance abuse in rural areas which is not spoken of very well by researchers, violent crimes and the game of victimology.
