Ashton Murwira earned a PhD in Peace Studies focusing on Civil Society in Zimbabwe. He is a senior lecturer in Political Science and International Relations in the department of Governance and Public Management. He has the capacity to develop manuals and train peace practitioners in conflict analysis and resolution. His academic knowledge and community engagement extends to foreign policy analysis, land reform and empowerment, minority rights and governance in Zimbabwe and beyond.
