Oripha Chimwara is a lecturer in the department of Governance and Public Management, University of Zimbabwe. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Msc in International Relations (both obtained at the University of Zimbabwe). She is currently working towards a doctorate degree at North-West University, South Africa. Her teaching specialization includes; international peace and security, public international law, international relations and African Political Ideas and diplomacy.

Research Interests: Social justice, gender, feminist theories, democratization, migration and youth studies and international peace and security.
