The University of Zimbabwe Innovation Hub was officially opened by His Excellency, President of Zimbabwe and Chancellor of the University of Zimbabwe, Cde Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa on the 5th of August 2019. Since then, it has supported numerous innovators to develop their prototypes and commercialise their products.
