  2. Students learn exciting Chinese Mandarine language to become a global citizen

Entry Requirements: Five “O” Level passes including English Language and a good pass in “A” Level English Literature/ or in English and at least two (2) other “A” Level subjects, preferably in Arts/Humanities

Programme Description:

  1. Introduce students to a wide variety of literatures
  2. Encourage and develop in our students the capacity to  interrogate language, and its use in literature and other forms of communication
  3. Encourage and nurture creative writing on and off campus

Entry Requirements: At least a 2.1 degree class in a first degree with an English component or other relevant qualification

BA straight Honours in English

Code: HEL

Programme Duration: Four years full-time and eight years part time. One year industrial attachment

Programme Description:

  1. Introduces students to a wide variety of literatures, creative writing and language skills.
  2. Inculcates analytical, creative, research and critical skills that help students to develop the capacity to  interrogate language, and its use in literature and other forms of communication
  3. Encourages and nurtures creative writing within and beyond formal lectures.

Entry Requirements: Five “O” Levels including English Language and a good pass in “A” Level English Literature/ or Literature in English and at least two (2) other “A” Lev-el subjects, preferably in Arts/Humanities
