Research Interests: Geography education; the map as a form of human discourse; cartographic licence, cartographic blunders and cartographic disinformation.

Current Research: A number of small studies in aspects of the map as an instrument of power.

Research Interests: Education for Sustainable Development and STS

Area of Research: Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) focusing on the relationship between ESD and educational quality and relevance.

Current Research Projects: Mobilising opportunities for social change through curriculum interventions; a case of addressing HIV/AIDS challenges at Parirewa High School, Domboshava, Zimbabwe.
