BSc. Honours Computer Science (HCS)
Graduates from the programme will be able to design, implement, and evaluate computer-based systems, processes, or components to meet desired user requirements. They will have skills to plan, implement, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot converged enterprise networks. Confronted with a computer science problem, graduates can identify concepts, algorithms, and applicable data structures to find a solution and can break the problem down into its component parts to formulate computer-based problem-solving methods. They will also be capable of creating software development or networking companies for the benefit of themselves and the country.
BSc. Honours Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (HAI)
This Programme equips Graduates with the ability to design and develop intelligent systems by assembling solutions to concrete computational problems in intelligent systems such as computer games, expert systems, semantic web, information retrieval, machine translation, mobile robots, decision support systems, and intelligent tutoring systems. They will also be capable of creating networking companies for the benefit of themselves and the country.
BSc. Honours Cloud Computing and Internet of Things (HCC)
Graduates from the programme will be able to apply creative problem-solving and rapid prototyping in the interdisciplinary domain of electronics, networking, security, data analytics, and business. The student-centric approach translates into the graduates being able to ideate, design, prototype and present an IoT solution for an identified business or society need. They will also be capable of creating their own cloud hosting companies for the benefit of themselves and the country.
MSc. Cloud Computing and Internet of Things (MCC)
Graduates will have the ability to designs and implement cloud computing and internet of things; apply knowledge of cloud computing and internet of things to design tools for processing and analysing large amounts of data from sensors; design and develop IoT applications and services adapted to industrial needs, produce effective designs and solutions for specific problems; identify, analyse, and synthesize scholarly literature relating to the field of cloud computing and internet of things; and use software development tools, software systems, and modern computing platforms. They will also be capable of creating their own software development and infrastructure automation companies.
MSc. Computer Science (MCS)
Graduates will have the ability to communicate computer science concepts, designs, and solutions effectively and professionally; apply knowledge of computing to produce effective designs and solutions for specific problems; identify, analyse, and synthesize scholarly literature relating to the field of computer science; and use software development tools, software systems, and modern computing platforms. They will be able to use current technologies to deploy and secure applications and data in a cloud environment. They will also be capable of creating their own software development and infrastructure automation companies.
