Conduct During the Examination
- Once in an examination venue, students should pay attention to and abide by the instructions given by the Invigilator(s).
- Students are required to maintain total silence during the course of the examination. All forms of communication with fellow candidates is not allowed. Raise your hand for assistance.
- Candidates must not turn to the question paper until advised to do so by the Invigilator.
- Once advised to open the question paper, candidates should ensure that they are sitting for the correct examination by checking the Module code and narration.
- Candidates should also ensure that they have a complete question paper by checking the page and question sequencing.
- Cheating is not allowed and will not be tolerated. Those caught allegedly cheating will be handled through the University Student Disciplinary procedures.
- All responses to examination questions should be done using official answer booklets provided by the University. Drafts and notes should be done on the official answer booklet and appropriately crossed out.
- Students may not leave the examination venue within the first thirty (30) minutes of the examination and the last ten (10) minutes of the examination.
- Candidates may not eat, drink or smoke during the course of the examination.
- Students must seek permission from the Invigilator should they want to leave their seats for whatever reason and would be duly escorted.
