Welcome to the University of Zimbabwe, Postgraduate Centre. The mandate of the Postgraduate Centre is to support the University’s Faculties, Schools and Departments to effectively deliver quality postgraduate training and education by ensuring that issues of management and governance, policy and regulations, quality assurance and administration, are effectively and efficiently attended to in a coordinated and systematic manner.

The Postgraduate Centre is readily available to assist prospective students who wish to enroll for a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) degrees in any of the University of Zimbabwe’s nine faculties and the College of Heath Sciences. The faculties are Agriculture, Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering, Law, Science, Social Studies and Veterinary Science. Students can register any time of the year.

The Postgraduate Centre executes its mandate through a tried and tested “ One Day Policy” which ensures that all issues pertaining to the registration and examination of higher degrees students are processed and dispatched to relevant offices within 24 hours of receipt.
