Focus will be on the use of AutoCAD software to create readable designs of the products being developed. Topics to be covered are: computer drafting, manipulation of extrusions, wire frames, solid models, 3-D modelling, ways to render 3-D drawings in situational projects, orthographic projections, isometric projections, CAD annotations, pictorial sketches, and solid modelling and dimensioning. Students will be required to design digital models and graphics that can be used to promote them.
