Qualifications: MSc Rural and Urban Planning, BSc Rural and Urban Planning, University of Zimbabwe  

Bio: Miss Valeria Chiyevo Muvavarirwa is a Junior Lecturer in the Department of Community and Social Development at the University of Zimbabwe. She is currently teaching undergraduate modules in Bachelor of Urbanisation and Social Amenities Development degree programme. Her research revolves around the planning, with interest in how planning intersects with governance, infrastructure development and smart settlements. She hopes to continue her research in other aspects such as community development and demography.

Research Interests: Regional and urban planning; Planning and demography; Planning and climate issues and Community development and planning.

Bio: Blessing Chikukutu is a Junior lecturer in the Department of Community and Social Development – Social Innovation Cluster, Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, University of Zimbabwe. She has worked with NGOs and has experience in Microfinance for development. Blessing joined the department of Community and Social Development in 2022 and is currently teaching undergraduate modules in the Bachelor of Sciences in Social Innovation and Community Development.

Research Interests: Livelihoods, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, Gender and Development, Gender based violence, Social innovation, women and law and Entrepreneurship and development
