Biography

Dr Nyika is an experienced and qualified Economist with ten cumulative years of experience in designing and implementing inter-disciplinary research projects; econometric modelling; economic policy analysis; evaluation of macro econometric models, forecasting for policy analysis, dynamic specification and the use of vector-auto regression modes (VARs) and error correction models (VECMs); capacity development issues; programme management, evaluation, reporting and budgeting; teaching at university level; working with smallholder farmers and disadvantaged communities in the public sector, research, development and relief work. Knowledgeable on economic growth and development issues in developing countries with proven ability to write and publish scientific papers, policy briefs and technical papers.
