MHTM501 The Tourism and Hospitality Industry This module will re-introduce students to the Tourism and hospitality industry with major focus on critical operational issues like the nature of the industry, governance issues, human capital development and other managerial issues.
MTIC502 Strategic Communication in Tourism The module will guide students in developing communication strategies for destinations and individual businesses utilizing current communication technologies and software. The module will further enable students to design communication models that can be patented and operationalized in partnership with national tourism organizations and the private sector.
MTIC503 Tourism Informatics and Web Design The Tourism and Hospitality Industry is dominated by the use of information communication technologies in conducting of business. The module enables students to expand their knowledge on information communication systems applied in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry. Candidates will be capacitated in the development of websites, Facebook pages and twitter accounts and other ICT enabled platforms that will enable organization to competitively promote their product and services globally.
MTIC504  Strategic Destination Marketing This module creates a comprehensive and focused management approach to marketing a destination in the domestic and global markets. The increasing role of the internet and cyber-marketing will also be looked at and in this case, students will learn how to design and manage their own websites in order to effectively market their organizations. Issues of branding, advertising and public relations will also be addressed. Students will also acquire expertise in applying tourism marketing strategies in countries other than their own.
MTIC505 Digital and Virtual Tourism Destination Marketing The module will assist the students to gain a deeper understanding of application of digital marketing of tourist destinations. Students will design and develop   digital marketing programmes for implementation on the assignments set for them in the module. The module will further capacitate students to design virtual destination marketing models patenting and industrialization.
MTIC506 Mobile Technologies and Product Distribution in Tourism The module is to exposes students to the range of mobile technologies that are being used to distribute the tourism products. The students will acquire technical skills and knowledge to enable them to make informed choices on the types of mobile technologies and devises to use for product and service distribution.
MTIC507 The role of Artificial Intelligence in Tourism Communication The module is design to expose students to developments in the use of Artificial Intelligence in tourism marketing and communication. Students will acquire skills to operate and apply different types AI system in use in the tourism and hospitality industry. This will help them to operate business enterprises efficiently and profitably.
MTIC508 Data Analytics and Forecasting in Tourism The module enables students to acquire knowledge understand on the concepts of Big Data and data analytics. Students will acquire skills to apply these concepts in forecasting trends in tourists’ arrivals, customer product purchase trends, market share etc.
MHTM509 Tourism Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation The module focuses on business development, barriers and practical issues related to marketing, human resources management, pricing, government policies and taxation in the hospitality industry, preparation of business plans, idea generation, environmental scan, opportunities identification and screening, feasibility study, developing business concept, translating ideas into business opportunities, location issues, financing, growth and management team.
MHTM510 Research Methods The module will equip students with the practical skills necessary to successfully complete a research project leading to the submission of a dissertation report. Students will be taken through the process and different stages of undertaking research. This module equips students with the skills and competencies that enable them to understand real-life management problems, collect and analyse data using different methodologies culminating to them being researchers.
MTIC570 Dissertation The dissertation is the culmination of the master’s study and recognition of the student’s capability to conduct a research project independently. Students are encouraged to undertake an organisation-based dissertation project. Working with an organisation, students can structure their project around a real business issue of challenge. A student project will develop their employability skills, enhance the student’s CV and give the student the chance to use his/her insight to help an organisation develop. Some of the outcomes here are publications in recognised journals, practical management solutions, policy recommendations, and models/frameworks to address issues of tourism industry design and development.

MPACFIN503 Information Technology and Public Financial Management The module develops students’ skills and expertise to design sound integrated public financial management models and systems that are critical to efficient resource utilisation, accountability and transparency to achieve government policy objectives.
MIDBS501 Information and Digital Skills for Post Graduate Students This module equips postgraduate students with advanced information literacy and digital competencies required for academic research and professional practice. It focuses on effective information searching, critical evaluation of digital sources, academic integrity, and ethical use of information. The module also develops practical skills in digital tools and technologies for research management, data analysis, collaboration, and scholarly communication. Emphasis is placed on academic writing, referencing, use of learning management systems, and digital presentation skills. By the end of the module, students will be able to confidently navigate digital environments and apply information skills to support postgraduate study, research, and lifelong learning.
 MPACFIN504  Strategic Public Procurement  The module strengthens knowledge and skills to enable student design models/frameworks for public procurement processes that transparent, fair, honest, cost-effective and competitive to achieve efficient resource allocation, accountability and government policy objectives.
 MREPGOV557  Applied Taxation  The module’s purpose is to equip students with necessary practical taxation skills and knowledge to manage taxation and enhance fiscal management in Zimbabwe.
 MPACFIN505  Applied Public Sector Governance and Risk Management  The module will enable instilling of probity in public sector activities, compliance with law and regulation, in order to secure corporate and national reputation and confidence critical for attracting inward investment in both the public and private sector. Skills will be developed to ensure efficient and effective risk management to enhance stakeholder value creation in both the private and public sectors.
MPACFIN506 Public Sector Strategy and Policy Development This module consolidates strategy management skills in students to enable them formulate, implement, control and evaluate strategy in order to avert corporate failure. The module will enable students to design frameworks for strategy formulation, implementation and control with a view to achieve sustainable corporate and policy success and economic development.
MPACFIN507 Ethical Issues in Public Sector Finance and Accounting This module consolidates strategy management skills in students to enable them formulate, implement, control and evaluate strategy in order to avert corporate failure.
